Are we going to have any fun in Dallas...

... besides living and breathing photography?

Because we wanted to use the most of our short time together, we haven't scheduled any official social functions other than the Sunday night cookout.

However, you're free to explore on your own as time permits between events and assignments. Definitely use the time to make friends, network, and get to know one another. (The shooting coaches are there specifically for you to pick their brains).

We'll be in McKinney, TX which is about 45 minutes from downtown Dallas and 1.5 hours from Fort Worth. McKinney is quiet suburb with a small town flavor so don't count on it for a party atmosphere.

The FW4 schedule is pretty packed. You'll be spending all day Monday at the ranch and then have your first team meetings that night. Tuesday and Wednesday are full shooting/editing days. You can plan on getting up early to go to your assignments and staying up late for the edits. There may be time in between that you can catch a break or two. Thursday could be more of a free day if you have all your images selected and readied for the slideshow presentation. You could head into Dallas and be back in time for the presentations that night. After the presentations, we can do whatever :)

Friday is a travel day for most of you. But for those who stay behind, we can go to my studio for awhile or crash at Brook Whittington's place. I am open to any idea for fun and games :)
